  1. Very neat Paula – I like how you showed that we can make this without a jerky gun. I’ll have to try this, I bet my husband would love that 🙂

  2. In the fridge for a few weeks it never last that long. In the freezer longer a few months. If it was vacuumed sealed on a shelf a few months not positive on that one since I don’t have any preservatives in it. Thanks for asking.

  3. Paula, Thank you for the video. How long will this keep? Do you refrigerate the jerky afterwards or How long is the shelf life? I know the pre seasoned packets that the jerky maker company makes have preservatives in them.I would love to make jerky without all that gunk, Thank you:)

  4. You got it. We will share the cooking. You do the cooking in days that end with Y and I will do the cooking all the other days. 🙂

  5. Hi Linda, This is my husbands favorite type of jerky. My coworkers as well I gave a small baggie to a guy I work with because he has been begging for some. He being the nice young man he is shared some with others.

  6. hi FoodPrepping first off thank you for the kind comment.
I dehydrated this for 4 hours. On the jerky setting.
No you don’t have to marinade the ground beef like you do the pieces. But you can and the flavor will be even better.
No you were not asking too many questions. 99* of us enjoy getting questions.
    Thank you for watching…Paula

  7. Some really cool tips in your video, Paula! How long did you dehydrate this for? I don’t think I saw that part. I am going to have to get me one of those jerky guns too. You don’t have to marinade your ground beef like you do beef pieces? I know, I am asking too many questions but that is just so cool. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!!
