I start my jerky with ground beef…any grade is fine. Sirloin, though a little more expensive, produces less mess. But you can use Chuck or whatever you want. If you get a setup like mine, you’ll need 3 lbs of ground beef and three packets of Nesco spices. I wait 5.5-6 hours for the jerky to cook.
